Working through your adoption process has put us in contact with so many that are also seeking to adopt. It is a wonderful connection that we all share. No other person understands the commitment, the paperwork, or divine vision that comes with adoption. It is wonderful to feel a part of the greater adoption family.
Today I am praying for one of those here in our church. It has been wonderful to see how God has placed such a great burden for orphans on her heart. Her willingness to accept children that may not otherwise be adoptable is an inspiration. She will make a wonderful mother.
Last week she received a call asking if she would be willing to accept a child with a heart defect or one that's mother has used drugs. After prayer and consideration she is willing to take either. It is our desire to have this beautiful child here in its forever home before Christmas. a referral could come very soon. We will continue to pray to that end.
Mom and I have been working through our training. We are so excited to see how God brings you to us, in His time.
